Our Commitment and Promise

Māngere Budgeting Services Trust operating as Budgeting & Family Support is a non-profit charitable trust based in South Auckland and beyond.

We have been helping whānau and individuals achieve better lives for themselves and their tamariki since 1994.

We provide free and confidential help and advice to anyone experiencing financial hardship, difficulties with debt management, and other social issues impacting their well-being.

Our aim is to help people achieve their financial goals and to make positive changes in their lives, through access to our financial advice, support, education and mentoring services.

We take a strengths-based and empowered approach to help clients manage their money, set goals and achieve long-term sustainable change.

Mentoring

Financial mentoring is a confidential one-on-one financial well-being service.

Financial mentors bring sound financial knowledge and experience and provide a safe space to enrich and empower people to manage their money, set goals and achieve sustainable change.

We provide free advice, support and advocacy for individuals and families across a range of housing-related matters.

Including but not limited to rent payments, Tenancy Tribunal applications, evictions and tenancy repairs.
